The Step Ahead program is funded by the City of Seattle and the Families and Education Levy providing generous preschool scholarship opportunities for children who are 4 years old by August 31st of the particpating year, meet the income guidelines set by the city, and live in the Seattle city limits. Please see below for the monthly income guideline chart based on family size.

This year we have applied for and was awarded eight Step Ahead scholarship spots, expanding our center with an additional preschool classroom.

To apply for the Step Ahead program at Little Eagles Child Development Center, please submit the Step Ahead application along with updated immunizations, birth certificate, and 3 months of income verification.
